How It Started
Riverbend was built on a simple idea:
There had to be a better, more honest way to help people design their homes.
Heath grew up around a custom cabinet shop. He’s built them, installed them, and understands what actually works in real life—not just what looks good on paper.
Laura brings the design vision, the details, and the ability to take what’s in your head (or on your Pinterest board) and turn it into something real, functional, and beautiful.
Together, we created Riverbend to be the kind of place we’d want to walk into ourselves—

Meet the Owners
This Is Us
Heath and Laura King have been married for 19 years and are proud parents to two sons: Landon, 18, and Evan, 14.
The Kings, originally from Cherokee County, Georgia, made Citrus County their home in August 2022 where they reside on the Halls River. In Georgia, they owned and operated King’s Custom Woodworks. Outside of the cabinet shop, Heath served as a Lieutenant at Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services, while Laura worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Harmony Animal Hospital.
Their connection to Citrus County was cemented in September 2021, during a vacation to Ozello. The charm of the county won them over, and they decided to relocate. Since moving, Heath has continued to run King’s Custom Woodworks until the rebranding process to Riverbend Cabinet Supply began the summer of 2024. Meanwhile, Laura has been actively serving the community as a long-term substitute teacher in various schools throughout Citrus County. Most recently, she has enjoyed her time at Crystal River Primary, fondly referring to them as her “Bear Cub Family.”
When not shaping the future of Riverbend Cabinet Supply, the Kings are either cheering on their sons at sporting events, FFA activities or casting a line in the serene surroundings of Ozello, Homosassa, and Crystal River.
